As any native Arizonan would tell you, enjoy the cooler weather before we head back into another blistering hot summer. New Belgium Brewing kicks of the Oktoberfest festivities with their annual Tour de Fat through the streets of Tempe.

Thousands of participants cruise through the city on their bikes. Riders dress up and wheel around on tricked out bikes before ending at Tempe Beach Park, where the party continues with food trucks, live music and street preformers.

The ride is free for all ages, but remember, the beer is for responsible people 21+ years of age.

If there is one thing Arizona does well, it's tacos. The Arizona Taco Festival is a must-attend event for food fanatics and margartia lovers.

Valley food trucks, swanky restaurants, hole-in-the-walls, and Arizona staples duke it out to win over your tastebuds for the title of "Best Taco." Taco fillings run the gamut, from goat meat topped with avacado sauce, chiptole shrimp and shredded lemon chicken.

Mariachi and rock bands jam in the background while Nacho Libre wrestlers hit the ring for a showdown. Don't forget! You have to cast your vote for "Best Taco"! These guys are in it to win it.

Polo is definitely an off beat activity to hit when you need to spice up your outting routine. The Arizona Polo Club has been holding their annual Polo Championships since 1982 and is a perfect way to spend a warm fall day.

Not into polo? No worries. You don't need to be a seasonal fan to enjoy a new sporting experience. Grab a seat next to the turf, and watch the women's team take on the men's in a fast-past match to the death! Okay, not really. But you'll love it.
