April is a broadcast student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.  She is of Hispanic heritage and a Phoenix native.

 

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends and dancing. She likes attending festivals and loves to try new food in the valley. This fall she got in touch with a little bit of her heritage.
